spred is a plant-based garlic spread made in the UK using fresh cold-stoneground garlic and natural ingredients.

Our mission is simple:

to make it easier for people to enjoy bold garlic flavour without the hassle, waste or unhealthy additives found in traditional garlic butters and pastes.

We combine convenience, quality and sustainability in one clever refillable dispenser — designed for modern home cooking.


How spred began

Most garlic products on the market fall into two extremes: either fresh garlic, which requires peeling and chopping, or paste and butter products that often contain less than 10% garlic. They’re either messy, inconsistent or lacking in real flavour.

We wanted something better; something:

  • full of real garlic
  • plant-based and dairy-free
  • made with natural ingredients
  • easy to use straight from the fridge
  • that didn’t rely on single-use plastic

So spred was created to solve these problems with a stoneground garlic spread and a refillable dispenser that cuts waste while keeping flavour at its freshest.

Every spred refill is produced in the UK using carefully selected ingredients and a cold-stonegrinding process that preserves natural garlic oils, aroma and taste.
